Classroom Pictures!

Don't get too excited, I have NOTHING set up.  I actually don't even have anything moved in yet!  Today was the first day I was able to go and check out my TWO new spaces for this coming school year!  In the morning I'll be teaching reading intervention and in the afternoon (at another school), I'll be teaching kindergarten intervention.  Check out my pics and feel free to send ANY ideas for layouts my way!  I'm trying to figure out how to arrange my computers and teacher desk for Classroom B!

Classroom A (reading intervention)
Looking into my room from the door

Looking out of my room....notice my cute little window to the hallway? Haha!
Classroom B (kindergarten intervention)

better view of the computers and storage area (thinking about putting my desk by the window?)

coat hooks!  trying to think of a mailbox idea for the top of these......

I have a sink!!  (no water fountain though...)
I will be sharing classroom B with another teacher since I'm only there in the afternoon.  She will be tutoring English Language Learners in the morning.  I haven't talked to her yet about what she wants to do but it might be challenging to find a spot for two teachers' desks!

Wow! You'll be able to do a lot with classroom B. I would suggest having a moveable desk like a cart so you don't have to have 2 of everything you need. Are you a reading coach? Just wondering why you have 2 spaces and are doing interventions-that's not normally done in Florida. Good luck with your classrooms!

I love love love classroom B and I am so excited that you have a BIG classroom to decorate this year. I know that it will be amazing and perfect because thats how everything you do turns out. I am totally here to help if you want help.

Love you, wife!

Hi Emily,

I am a new follower and I just want you to know that I am currently living my desire to teach vicariously through you. My job allows me about 30 days of in-class presenting each year (to k-12 science classes usually to teach about pollution and water quality). There have been so many days that I wish I would have gotten a teaching license. Until then, keep doing what you're doing, and I'll keep following! Have an awesome day!

Sorry no ideas here; but wohoo for a window! Both of my parents are in the school-system and I know how windows are hard to come-by!

Oh my goodness. It was just one week ago that I was in the same boat as you - naked classroom with no clue what to do. I've been working my buns off though and am hoping it will pay off soon.

Luckily you have LOTS of space to work with. How EXCITING!!! :)
