On September 21, 2011 I got some of the best news ever...I was pregnant!!  Even though we had been trying, I was still in shock when I saw the positive test so *of course* I had to take another the next day just to make sure it wasn't a fluke!

Believe it or not, I waited an entire day to tell Nick (aka the hubster).  I wanted to make SURE this was really it before I announced to him.  I knew I wanted a creative way to surprise him with the news.  I usually get home from work before him.  I told him that I had tried to make a snack after work and the oven was messed up.  I asked for him to take a look.  When he went to check it out, he found this:

At first he was VERY confused.  He looked at me and I had to talk to him like my kindergartners.  This is about how our conversation went....
Nick: "Babe.....what the......?!"
Me: "What is it?!"
Nick: "It's a bun!"
Me: "Where is it?!"
Nick: "....in the oven?"
Me: "So what is it?!"
Nick: ".........a bun in the oven......."
Me: ...........
Nick: "Oh my gosh, babe, really?!  Did you take a test?!"

When Nick finally figured it out, I had this little piggy bank with a message about saving up for Carson's college fund and on the back of the card was the picture from above with my two positive tests!
