As far as my health issues, I haven't really gotten any answers but my blood pressure is back to normal with some new medication I'm taking! As much as I don't like taking pills, it's nice to know that one (low-dose) pill a day can control my hypertension! I got an ultrasound of my kidneys ($$$$) and also an echocardiogram (ultrasound of my heart). The kidney scan was normal (yay!), but I don't have the results of the echo yet....thinking positive thoughts. No news is good news, right?!
Other than that, no news around here. We have 3 weeks of school left and I have a feeling they're going to go quickly! It will be a bittersweet end to my first year since I may be saying goodbye to my students and co-workers for good.

i'm sorry to hear about the lack of contract for the following year. it is a tough time to be a teacher. I have been applying fir jobs since I graduated in December. However, there is not a single job to apply for in the are where my husband and I are living now. So we are both in search of a job in different cities.
With one year of awesome teaching under your belt I am sure things will work out! Praying for you!
It's definitely tough being a teacher right now...but I'm sure with your positive thinking and great energy you will have a new job to look forward to soon. Good thoughts and prayers are being sent your way! {Hugs}
Sorry to hear about your job. The same thing happened to me last year. Job searching is not fun, but I'm at a new school now that I like even better than my old one! Good luck.
I thought this sort of thing was only happening in Texas! My thoughts are with you!
