Happy V Day!

Baby Carson is now the size of a grapefruit!  This was a big week for us as far as things being crossed off our to-do list and milestones!  I've read online that during week 24, Baby Carson will be anywhere from 1-2lbs.  CRAZY!

On to the good stuff.....

How far along? 24 weeks!

Total weight gain: I'm feeling I'm up a significant amount this week.  I feel like my belly officially popped.  (Scroll down to see my latest bump pic!)

Maternity clothes? Yep, still rocking my new maternity work pants and jeans!  I can wear my regular shirts still but I mix in a few maternity shirts here and there as well.  I need to buy some more pants!

Stretch marks? no

Sleep: Thanks to my friend Lindsey, I am sleeping great with my borrowed Snoogle!

Best moment this week: TONS!  First of all, now that I'm 24 weeks, I've reached viability!  I had some pain in my upper abdomen so I had to go to an unscheduled appointment and get on the fetal monitor.  Carson's heart rate was great and it turns out that it might just be my muscles separating!  Also, while I was at the appointment, I SAW Carson move a TON!  It's so fun and I always watch for it now.  Nick has already seen it quite a few times, too.  It's so surreal to feel and see my baby boy kicking and rolling!  ALSO, we got Carson's nursery painted and ordered his crib, mattress, and curtains!  Progress :)  I'll do a nursery update post VERY soon!

Miss Anything? This week I'm not really missing anything in particular....

Movement: I can now SEE and FEEL Carson moving and I love it!

Food cravings: Mostly salty/fruity during the day and sweets at night after dinner!  I feel like it would be a sin not to have dessert after dinner!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

Gender: Baby BOY Carson!

Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: I had some pain in my upper abdomen (it felt like I did too many crunches but I did none) so I went to the doctor to get checked out just in case.  I was lucky enough to hear Carson's heartbeat while I was there and be reassured that everything is fine!

Belly Button in or out? innie...starting to get super shallow.  Nick teases me about this because he knows I hate it!

Wedding rings on or off? on still and loose but I can't blame it on the cold weather anymore - it's been unseasonably warm here in Ohio and I'm LOVING it!  (60 degrees on February 1st? yes please!)

Happy or Moody most of the time: Super happy still! I love that people at work are finally noticing my bump and I'm getting compliments on it :)

Looking forward to: Setting up Carson's crib and making more progress on his nursery!

P.S. Happy Groundhog's Day, everyone!  I sure hope that little dude does whatever he needs to do for spring to be here SOON!  :)
